Restart Problem Replaced all major components and O/S still have problem

One of the questions that you haven't answered is how large is your PSU? That graphics card requires a minimum 350W PSU.

700watts. the old one was 650

i may have found it! I was fiddling around with my old components in the old case to see if I could get it to restart with those components but with the new hard drive and new cables. It failed, but while I was reverting back to my new stuff I had the power on and moved the case. I guess there was a plug adapter that had a stripped wire. I accidently touched it to the case and zap!! Everything is good though luckily.

So far no restart.

It was a plug adapter that goes from 4 prong (like you would plug into the back of a cd rom) to a 2 prong that connected a blue wire and white wire that is twisted. I think its part of the wire harness that runs the power switch, reset sw etc. I was using that same one on both cases with both sets of components. Never noticed that it was stripped.

not fixed, had a restart just now.
