O so you mean intel is slow well if not tell me the best processor? AMD,centrino,athlon?

No intel is not slow, just take a bit for th laptop to "wakeup" as for partitioning I am writing a tutorial on it!

Ok well i deal with that but i wont my start menu to work better! Even after my pc is awake and being used for a hour if i go to hit the start menu it takes forever to load!!! Also when i go to desktop and right click and go down therea a send to thing and in order to hit properties i have to go over it well it takes 5 secs to load the slide out menu!!!! I nead help on fixing those glitches!

have you run a good spysweeper program? If it is running that slow somthing is eating up cpu cycles. look in taks manager when you right click to say what is taking alot of resources up!

What do you mean by task manager? I know hot to get it but what tab do i look in? I have only 29 processes running!

the preformance tab.......29 proccesses on 256 mmegs is going to slow it down!!

What do i look for in that tab? Heres a screen shot! The cpu usage chart is high i was opening pages ON firefox! Ahhh cant host a pic on image shack my image is saved by paint and is 2.21mb! How can i post it here and show you???

like you can shut down gearsec.exe unless your bruning dvd's, wallpapertoy, and do you have shared video memory because your only showing 190 megs of ram. full.
