I have an e-machines computer that my son had in college. It became filled with viruses so I reconfigured the hard drive in an attempt to clean up the machine. I reinstalled windows 98se. It seems to have worked fine EXCEPT for the monitor setting. It is in large print (16 color 640 X 480 display) and I have no other options except for 2 color. The slide bar does not slide. I do not have the monitor disc. Any suggestions on how to change the display to 1024 X 768 would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
