I know the answer to this before I ask but here goes...Coffee was spilled onto my laptop and I immediately took it and turned it side ways to let it run out. After a while I thought I had it all and even did some work on the laptop for a while off and on before I shut it down last night. This morning is another story. I went to sign into my accounts and found that I do not have the # 2 key or the -a,g,and l-keys. Is this thing toast or is there a miracle on getting these back?

Thanks for all your help.
Happy Holidays,

Replacement keyboards don't cost an arm and a leg
You can remove yours and spray it down with some contact cleaner
What is the make and model

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Most of the time you pry off the top bezel and remove two screws and the ribbon cable (carefully, don't just pull it. You have to open the clips)
Here are some examples. Note: these are eBay stores, not private sellers. $30 and a couple have free shipping
Just make sure #3680 is the same as #3690, which I think it is

Now that you have the part, maybe a how to is in order?

Acer USA Home

Replace notebook keyboard and mouse Acer Forum Post
includes link to how to, above.

Technically a self-serve like this is a "hardware hack". It's legal, but it may invalidate warranties. Double check before you start. Hope it Helps!!
