Looks like more people are using Linux than Windows 2000 and 95/98/Millenium Edition combined.

Actually I have Ubuntu 8.10 on my girlfriend's laptop, my desktop and possibly my PS3, if I feel adventurous on playing around with it. Amazingly enough Sony actually supports owners of their PS3 for putting other OSes on the PS3. Heck for the price a PS3 is, you could actually use it as a computer, you just need a USB/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and a supported printer and Ubuntu or another flavour of linux and it'll do exactly the same things as a normal computer would.

I have XP Pro on the laptop and Vista Premium on my desktop.

Also a media PC being built which will have XP Home on it aswell.

I have dabbled in linux a little bit but do not have it running as a main OS.

Looks like a lot of people still use Windows XP, it's leading by a wide margin over Windows Vista. thumbup.gif

More people are still using Linux here than Windows 2000, Windows 95/98/Millenium Edition and Mac combined. clapping.gif

I wonder if there are users here in BC that has an OS that falls in the "Other" category...

Ubuntu and XP on my box. I primarily live in Ubuntu, but I use Windows for a couple of games whose performance sucks under WINE.
