My PC hard drive crashed a while ago, so I bought an external enclosure for the drive in hopes of salvaging some data. I hooked the drive up to a Mac and luckily it could read it (where as my PC could not). I've slowly been transferring the data from the drive to the Mac to my PC. But, when I try to transfer video files (avi's and mov's mostly) I get this error:

"The Finder could not complete the operation because some data in "Sahara.mov" could not be read or written. Error Code - 36"

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

According to Mac OS System Error Codes: 0 to -261 article, error -36 is an I/O error (bummers). I haven't a clue to what that means.
