I restarted my computer this morning and my computer came up with an error. user profile not loaded correctly. You have been logged in with a temp profile.

I can't acess some of my programs!!!! I have to search for my picts and documents, they don't show up in the start menu. HELP!!! I have tried everything and tech support really STINKS for HP!

I run Windows Vista Home Premium.

Reboot and press F8 repeatedly just before the Vista splash screen shows up.

This will get you to the Safe Mode dialog (a black screen with choices).
Choose "Last Known Good Configuration" and see if that works.
Or, try booting into Safe Mode with Networking support.

Once in, backup everything immediately.

If you're receiving Access Denied errors, use this "how-to" to take ownership of those files: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic42756.html
