Hi,

I have been looking for a program that makes website development easier. I came across this facinating software
called Xsitepro but its a bit too expensive for me by myself and I wondered if anyone wanted to share the cost of it or if there
might be a shareware version of the program.......maybe someone might be able to turn me on to something that I could afford.

Thanks
Doug

and no I am not cheap but time are tough on my pocket these days. LOL

no way, they say that you CAN install it on up to two computers, BUT if you run the software on both computers at the same time, your license may become invalid. Not worth the risk i'd say.

SOURCE: XsitePRO.com FAQ's found under the "Can I install XSitePro on more than one machine?" heading.

On the other hand, it does look like a nice peice of software.

Does anyone else know a some software that can do a similar kind of thing?

I guess it could be done but we could not run it at the same time. It would take some real communication to share it and to stay valid. lol

see ful message below....but i gusee the?? is it worth it right on.

Can I install XSitePro on more than one machine?
Yes, that's not a problem at all - at the moment. We are thinking of changing this policy so that you'd get a discounted second copy, but for now if you buy one licence we can sort you a second one out for your second PC (e.g. a laptop) absolutely free. The unlock code is specific to the machine that you have installed it on, so after installing it on your second PC you will need to register the software again by clicking on the "Register Online" button. Your other copy will continue to function correctly but you can only install the software on a total of two machines and you can only use it on one machine at any time. If you run the software simultaneously on both computers your licence may be invalidated.

Exactly, sorry but i'm not going to take the risk, i'd rather buy it outright and have it to myself, that way i know the license won't be invalid at any stage...
