when someone from the house is in need of help when i am gone, i would like to use the remote desktop sharing thing so i can control the vista desktop. im aware though that vista does not have netmeeting anymore and have somehitng called windows meetingspace only complatible with vista users. i downloaded netmeeting and set the compatibility to Windows NT 4.0 (Service pack5) a few years back i remember that another computer user was able to get into my pc and control my pc and desktop so my problem is this, i would like to do the same thing. i was able to connect through netmeeting with another xp laptop i have here to this vista comp. the desktop in the laptop appears in the screen of the vista. so i am able to see what the laptop is doing. but not vice versa b/c (i think) the 'remote desktop sharing option' does not work in this vista computer. i can not see or contorl the desktop of the vista in the xp laptop which is what i need. is there a solution to this problem or another way besides netmeeting for me to getting access to the vista computer from a XP laptop? it's been 2 years sine vista has been out and i do not see any progression to this stinkin vista.
