I have an old blue clamshell running 9.0.3 that has worked fine for the last 6 or 7 years. All of a sudden the screen is blank at start up. I can hear the hard drive operating like it normally did just NOTHING on the screen. Took the battery out for a time just on the chance that may help, but didn't. Did a partial disassemble on the luck I accidently tighten something back up. any ideas?

First of all Thanx Buddyme2 for the reply. I tried resetting the PRAM and had a desktop screen. I then tryed to restart to extensions off and no screen again.

Does this mean I need a new battery when the computer won't hold the PRAM settings?
Thanks again!!
