I found this one is one of the best to test your speed: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

The one at CNET is not that good, and it does not test upload speed. The speedtest ist very cool, but it gives you too many servers to pick up. You could pick up a wrong server with slower connection compared to your PC. That is why I found the link above the best, pick up NY or LA as a fair benchmark.

Example of a fair benchmark:
If you are in India and your connection to a server Bangalore is 17mbps, but your connection to the rest of the world like servers in NY is 1mbps, than 1mbps is a better reference rate. Most of the people anyway brows US servers.

Not bad, considering I pay for a 5mb/s (5120kb/s) connection, which includes a 768kb/s upload. So, I'm pretty much getting what I pay for, +/- a few kb/s.

this test rates my score @3046, and it says divide by a 1000 and so my 3.04, but this other speed test says:
So if I were to divide this one, my score would 19.8
Which is right

My faster download speed is my old Pentium 4 which is cabled to my router. My faster upload speed is my Quad Core which has a wireless connection.

In order for the Staff of BC to give you the proper help you need:

* Do not DOUBLE POST!!!!!
* Do not run ComboFix unless specifically instructed to do so.
* Do not post a HJT log in the "Am I Infected" forum (this is for the
HijackThis Logs and Virus/Trojan/Spyware/Malware Removal Forum).
* Be careful when following instructions from non BC Staff.
* Have some patience, please. We are all volunteers here. I would rather be on the golf course.

Thanks,
Golfdude
