When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I think I accidently downloaded something that gave me a virus. Right after it downloaded, it opened up the My Computer and My Documents folder automatically. And I noticed that my computer was running something that seemed like all the time.

When I opened Internet Explorer, I noticed that it disabled the "Show Pictures" option, so I couldnt see any pictures.

I ran Norton 360, which found nothing but a couple tracking cookies. Then I ran Ad Aware, and it found a process running called csrssc.exe. I deleted it, restarted my computer, and now it won't start up. It seems like everything is running fine until I hit my name to log on after turning the computer on. Then all that happens is that I see only my background picture on the desktop and nothing else. No icons or task bar at the bottom. I also tried turning it on it Safe Mode, but the same thing happens.

I am on another computer right now typing this trying to figure out what I can do.

Also, I also noticed that this virus disabled the "Folder Options" under View inside folders.

What can I do to fix this problem/virus?

If I posted this in the wrong place, can you tell me where to post it? Thank you,
- pozman21
