When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.
To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Said something I don't remember exactly... C://Mozilla Firefox - Install C://Mozilla Firefox - Generate CD Key C://Mozilla Firefox - Something.. and then my computer restarted on it's own. It started up very slow, and If I started clicking something it froze and restarted. So I decided to wait till start up was finish after the next restart. Then I was able to navigate again. I tried to do a restore point. I clicked the date and time that I wanted to restore to. Then clicked next. But nothing happened // wouldn't let me. Shortly after computer froze and restarted. I tried again but all my restore points are gone. So I figured it might be a malware or something? So I had this program called Malwarebytes's Anti-Malware on my computer. I scanned it right away. Roughly a few minutes of scanning it said I had 30 problems so far, and its STILL scanning. Then it froze and then it popped up a message saying, am I sure I want to close Malwarebytes's ? and I didn't click anything. Closed on it's own and restarted. When the computer started again. I was upable to load malwarebytes anymore. Nor was I able to load Spybot S&D On the bottom left hand corner my computer suddenly pops up saying Windows Update is Off, No Virus-Protection. Then it has a odd fat looking red/circle X on the bottom. Like a shield for windows but this was a fat circle. Didn't look like Windows work. Then it kept popping up from the icon " Windows has detected spyware click here download etc etc for protection " I didn't click it of course. I just " x " the bubble. But it kept poppinig back up everything time I closed it. I'm currently in safe-mode as we speak and the only program that works right now is Ad-Ware SE 2008 which I am performing a scan. I tried to use HiJackThis but it wouldn't load. Or maybe I used it wrong i'm not sure. I extact the program, an Icon came out. I double clicked and nothing happen. So pretty much thats my story. I'm really lost and I have no idea what to do. Lots of important work I don't want to lose or get stolen. Help would be appreciated at this point T_T ! Please do ask anything and I'll try my best to answer. I tried to follow the guidelines for posting help/new topics. Hope i did this correctly.. Sorry for the double post.
I just finished my Ad-Ware SE 2008 Scan. 4 Critical Objects appeared. Named: 1) (It has a weird money looking Icon) Adware.BHO(Generic) Registry Entry Root: HKCR Path: interface\f7d09218-46d7-4d3d-967f-315204cd0836) Another long Registry Entry 2) (Has some weird devil looking Icon) Malware Win32.Trojan-Dropper.Cutwail 2 Files with a bug/white paper background. File: C:\\Windows\Temp\BN13.temp C:\\Windows\Temp\BN3.temp Edit #2: I just Quarantine the 2 Critical Objects that Ad-Ware SE found. It does give me the option to delete it. But I'm afraid I might trigger something if I do so. I attempted in removing the files. But it comes right back. Not happens when I try to remove it. In my Windows Task Manager. It seems if I touch the mDNSResponder.exe my computer automatiaclly restarts >< Anyone may have any clue in fixing this or is the only solution a complete wipe >_< ? |

Hi Charlie88,
I don't think you need to do a complete wipe, unless you do that regularly anyway. Please go through the instructions in This Topic. Use the log for MalwareBytes that you already have and get every other log that you can. Try to do the online scans. When you get all the way through the instructions, post what you were able to do, and what you were not able to do and post the logs. To remove the files which are stubborn, you will need help with more advanced tools and programs, but to get that help, you have to first try all of the other steps. Zllio |

You have a HJT log posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.
From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean. Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond. If after 5 days you still have received no response, then post a link to your HJT log in the thread titled "Haven't Had A Reply In Five Days?".
