I'm trying to move my favorites from a Windows 98 wireless to a Windows Vista wireless but have been unable to do so. I followed the instructions at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/move-internet-explorer-favorites/ but when I go to my D drive (CD drive) my computer tells me there is nothing there.

I don't know where to go from here.

What do you mean Wireless? Are you assuming that you are connected to each computer and you can access the other drive?

Then no, first a network has to be established. But in personal experience, Vista doesn't like XP let alone 98 especially with wireless.

I'd recommend you use a flash drive or some other form of removable media.

Hope I helped!

So sorry--I already put my Win98 favorites onto a CD. Now I want to take them from the CD and put them into Windows Vista favorites.

With the CD in the drive, open My Computer and right-click on the drive and choose Explore. Does anything show up?

I haven't used it yet. In the Help menu, look up Windows Easy Transfer and follow the instructions
