BleepingComputer.com: Random game minimizing?

I have an issue when playing games. They take up the full screen and for some reason, the game will quite randomly minimize. This is an issue with some older and more unstable games since they tend to crash at the same time. I'm not sure whether there is some hot-key or a go-to-desktop combination key, so if anyone has any answers, please help!

You might be accentually hitting the "windows" key, causing the windows start menu to take focus so the game will minimize.
