Hello Hawkeye4
Does this problem keep happening, or did it happen just once?
Regards,

Alan.

Sorry, forgot to say it was a friend's computer and she says it happens every once and a while. Just trying to help her, because I haven't had this error before.

If you get chance you might look in the event viewer for more info on the problem.

1. Click Start select run
2. Type eventvwr.exe
3. Press enter
4. Search through the groups for errors and warnings.
5. Double click on each error and or warning.
6. Locate the copy to clipboard button, Posted Image (under the two arrows)
7. Let us know what you find. (paste the results)
Regards,

Alan.

Here's two examples. 10/31/08 was the first date it occured and since 10/14 she's getting the error everyday now. Is it something to do with IE and is there a repair to IE that we can do?

There are fixes that might work, uninstalling and re installing would probably be the best option. Can she use firefox?
Regards,

Alan.

Uninstall and reinstall IE? And if so, how? It comes with WinXP SP3. And suggested she use Firefox, but that won't get her updates for IE though.

click advanced under browsing uncheck enable third party browser extension
hope this will fix the issue
Thanks & Regards,

If that doesn't work you could try using FF with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

Alan.
