Hard to believe that we are about to reach our millionth post. This milestone would have not have been possible without, you, the BleepingComputer.com community. To commemorate this achievement, and to thank you for getting us there, we are having a contest to give back to those who made BC what it is today.

I want to make this site fair, but I also want to give back to those who are active. So we made the qualifications simple:
  • Been an active member within the 30 day period from when the contest was announced.
  • Be in the Member group or part of the Study Hall.
  • Be willing to provide Shipping Address, Real Name, and Phone number to be used for shipping purposes.
If we do not hear back from a prize winner within 10 days, we will perform another random drawing for a different winner.

The prizes for this contest are:

First Prize: EVGA 896-P3-1260-AR GeForce GTX 260 896MB

Second Prize: Western Digital My Book Essential 750GB External Hard Drive

Third Prize: Windows Vista Ultimate and Office Home and Student 2007

5 other random members will win a fully licensed copy of the excellent MalwareBytes' Anti-malware security software.

A big thanks to our members and staff for getting us to this point!

Looking forward to the next million posts!

Update:

The winners have been selected and can be found here.

The winner of each prize will need to supply a suitable shipping/mailing address, either by sending an email or PM to Grinler.

What do you have to do to be considered an "active member"?

...Wha????

In all seriousness, though, the only thing I'd probably would like is the External Hard Drive.

.....but...Vista.....this computer would die running it due to some of the programs I have on here that I have to use for college......

Do we know who had the 1,000,000 post?

Damn the time difference - or it could have been me.
