I have several templates I need to save in Word 2007. I will be using these for my work at home job. The company sent the following instructions for downloading, opening and saving the templates:

Before you download a template from email:

Press Office button on far left
Press Word Options
Press Trust Center
Press Settings
Highlight: Disable all macros with notification
Check: Access to VBA (abbreviated?)

Then to download the template from email:

Right click mouse on attachment
Save As
On left OS© then on right there will be folders – press:

Users
(your name or whatever you have there)
Application Data
Roaming
Microsoft
Template

To open a template to create a document:

Open up Word
Click on the Office Word – Office button?
Press New
My Template…then all your templates should be listed there
Double click on the template that you want to use

To SAVE as a document:

Office Button
Save As
Word 97/2003 document !!!!!!!!!! Do not save as a .dcx Always save as .doc
Save the template with Hotel code_date you called hotel_your initials

The titel of the instructions is "Vista Template Instructions". I do not have Vista. I have Windows XP. The company assured me the instructions were the same for my system since I am using Word 2007. But when I following the downloading instructions I have none of the options listed.

How can I save these templates in a folder on Word 2007?

Thanks!
Lori
