-I do have an ip address
-i am connected to the internet
-I have a static ip set (but it doesn't work with dynamic either)
-I am able to ping www.google.com, and receive all packets back within seconds....
-I was able to remotely connect with logmein.com to this computer
-It is a physical connection
-Other browsers such as firefox, chrome, safari, etc do not work either....
-I ran an "advanced windows care" scan, and it came up with 94 registry issues, all were fixed...

I have even cleared the history, temp files, and whatever it is that is easily cleared through internet explorer...(I want to say css or csl or c something along those lines....)

Any help is appreciated

thanks

Hello ph7ryan,

Are you behind a router?
Have you got a firewall blocking port 80:8080?
Do other computers connect correctly?
Have you cleared the browser cache? (CTRL+F5)

The event viewer may give some more information.

1. Click Start select run
2. Type eventvwr.exe
3. Press enter
4. Search through the groups for errors and warnings.
5. Double click on each error and or warning.
6. Locate the copy to clipboard button, Posted Image (under the two arrows)
7. Let us know what you find. (paste the results)
Regards,

Alan.

To save time, could you say which of the errors are from the period in question?
Regards,

Alan.

You will need to double click on each of the application errors and check what the application is.

Alan.
