Thumbnails wont show and background only shows some pics {REPOST from 11/11} Please help!

Hello BC,

{Running Vista Home Basic 32 bit SP1}

I have a really irritating issue. I had a trojan back in AUgust and after removing it completely, my background pic stopped showing up. But it turns out the trojan wasn't completely removed. So after getting rid of it 100% for sure, only certain pics will show up as a background. My jpg pic of Gym Class Heroes wont show up but my jpg of Marilyn Monroe will. Also, thumbnails of pics wont show up in folders. On my desktop they will though. After a bit of searching, I found that lots of people have had a similar problem. Help me!

I was trying to show my issue to someone and tried changing my background to Gym Class from Marilyn and back again... Marilyn wont show up now either!
