Hello all. I have used counterspy for a year now and love it. But for my AV needs I have used NOD 32. But I seen sunbelt has the AV combined with counterspy for only 10 bucks since I own counterspy and will not crisscross with the active protection with NOD32. (as counterspy's active protection can and has.)
Has anyone used Vipre? And is it any good? Not worried about being a resource hog. From the website it looks like it only takes up 20 megs of ram anyway! My subscription for NOD32 is coming to an end in a week and was looking for something else.
Thanks for any input.

I would say since you didn't get a reply in a week. That no one that uses Sunbelt's VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware product has seen this post yet. After all it is a relatively recent release out of beta.

Here are a couple of reviews FWIW:

Keeping in mind that those may or may not be the most objective and unbiased sources.

Thanks Animal,
I have been using it for a couple days now and works great (although I do surf sage anyway) The scans are fast (I have a terabyte of space and finishes it in 20 minutes. It does not take that much ram up, although not really worried about that as I always figured I paid for the ram use it. I have saved some malware to test it and has caught it all.
I just downloaded the firewall they have yesterday . I think it used to be Kerio personal firewall but they bought it out and made some changes. Since I used and loved counterpsy I just went ahead and bought it as for 10 bucks is a good deal. Firewall is ok. I like ZA a little better though. But has alot more options than ZA.

Again thanks for the links. Seems I finally made a good choice (other than NOD 32) plus the wife is happy I did not spend 40 bucks again lol
