2 of my buddies had recently switched to at&t yahoo and both had used avast antivirus and then they moved to norton and mcafee, but when they downloaded avast the at&t yahoo browser stopped working. they had to use IE to surf, now they want their yahoo browser back, So I went to help them out. but the browser was gone. I went to their control panel>add or remove programs> yahoo applications and the browser was gone. So i went to yahoo software downloads to download the browser and it wouldn't let me, their(at&t) techs said its because they have the browser. but they don't! if you click on the Icon it says put in the disc and it doesn't show in the applications or in the program list.I'm guessing the antivirus deleted most of the program, but not all. I told the guys that I would run it across the geniuses who helped me a lot. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Why would they not want to use IE or FireFox? I am not familiar with the yahoo browser but FireFox is a really great one.

I found this page which has similar symptoms. http://jeremy.zawodny.com/blog/archives/004795.html
