Toshiba laptop won't connect to internet after restart.

we uninstalled avira security suite and when it restarted the internet doesn't work.

We can't view our wireless connection even though we have one currently running.
I did a system restore alot of times still won't work.

From what you described it looks like you are connected to your wireless router but you are not receiving an ip address. Try doing the following and re-posting your results.

Hold the windows key and the "r" key. You should get a little box in the bottom left hand corner. In that box type "cmd" and hit the enter key. Now you should have a black box in front of you with a blinking cursor. Type "ipconfig" (without the " ) you should get a list of letters and numbers, copy and paste them into your next post.

It doesn't say nothing but "Windows IP Configuration".

I am not connected to the router on it, it won't even show it in range.

So you are not connected and it is not picking up a wireless signal period. What kind of notebook is it? look at the front of the notebook and on some there is a switch that turns the wireless / bluetooth off. make sure that switch is set to on. If you do not have a switch go to control panel and network connections. Make sure that the wireless connection is not disabled. Let me know your results.
