Ok, I decided to remove Norton Internet Security 2005 from my computer because it was too old and it's trial already expired.

As Norton was being uninstalled, we had a power-out for just a few seconds and then came back on. Now, I can't change nor remove Norton Internet Security 2005 no matter how many times I click.

Help?

Here's a video:

Hi.

As Hamluis said did you use the Norton uninstaller tool?

Does that mean the Norton unisntaller didn't do anything and slowed down your comptuer?

I see you have Norton 2005 installed.

Try removing it by following the instructions here: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...&view=docid

When I try to remove it, it says..

"The installation is missing the file instopts.dat. Setup will now exit."

The Norton uninstaller did practically nothing but just reboot my computer for nothing.

I did everything on the page, but it still won't leave.

Note: This was the TRIAL, and the trial is now expired. I didn't buy it, but just got the free trial.
