Hello,
I am having trouble with multiple CD drives. The two I am use do not read any CD's. The two I am using are LiteOn LTR-40125S and Plextor DVDr PX-716A. I have tryed troubleshoot, uninstall letting xp reinstall, downloaded two drivers R40ZS0P and R40ZS0R for the LiteOn driver but they say "this is only used for LiteOn LTR 40125S with firmwire" gives a specific number I dunno if u need that or not each driver that i downloaded says 2 different firmwires. if anyone can help that would be great thanks.

System manufacturer and model?

You have 2 optical drives that don't work properly at reading CDs. Does that mean that neither can read a music CD? An XP install/bootable CD? A DVD? A burned CD or DVD?

The likelihood of two optical drives failing at once...I suspect that must be a pretty small percentile.

System manufacturer and model?

What is the max output for the power supply (it's normally stated on the label)?

Any other known system problems that might be related?

Any disk errors appearing in Event Viewer?

System manufacturer and model? Of my computer, Home built.

You have 2 optical drives that don't work properly at reading CDs. Does that mean that neither can read a music CD? An XP install/bootable CD? A DVD? A burned CD or DVD?
I have 2 drives but they do not run at the same time, I got both for free from a friend when he learned I was putting a computer together. Only one runs at a time and neither of them read anytype of CD/DVD that I am aware of

System manufacturer and model? Of the drives LiteOn LTR-40125S and Plextor DVDr PX-716A

What is the max output for the power supply (it's normally stated on the label)? I think the max output is 600, but i could be wrong. No does not state so.

Any other known system problems that might be related? No

Any disk errors appearing in Event Viewer? yes, but I cant tell what its from or of.

Hope this helps at all

Well...I'd find out if these "gifts"...work on any other computer system...before I worried much about installing them on my system.

They could be non-functional.
