directory help

i move alot of stuff around in my hard drive and i have forgot where to put Max Payne at,do i put in the program files folder, or elsewhere? can somebody provide me with the EXACT place to put it? many thanx

i also am having a problem running Max Payne... it keeps saying that the there has been an "abnormal program termination" because of a runtime error, anybody know what in the heck its talking about?

Did you restart your computer after install?
Do you have enough? R.A.M?
What operating system?
Which CPU?
How much R.A.M.

yes i did...

I have a P4 2.53ghz
1 gig of RAM
64mb nVidia GeForce4 MX 420 (which i am planning to upgrade)

also can u give me the EXACT directory in which to put max payne in? plz?

Some games are self-installed under the ProgramFiles folder, others install themselves as a separate folder. I should think either one will do, but you could play safe and uninstall the game and then re-install it using it's wizard.

Is there any other information included in the runtime error message?

its the C++ Visual Library or soomething like that, there was no installer for it, my friend gave it to me and he said to copy the CD on to the HD theres no installing to do

Without the exact wording of the error message, my first guess would be there is something wrong with the game or its installation? Has the game EVER worked for you?
