The only conceivable way to move it to another system would be to D/L it to the slave (E:) drive if that is possible, . . please tell me how to move it to the (C:) drive that is the master, . . (this system) ?

Do you have a USB drive? If so you can save it on another computer and then transfer it to the problem computer.
Regards,

Alan.

Thanks Allan,

I have it installed, but I seem to be having a problem updating, . . . it seems to start then recedes and attempts to start again but doesn't get very far.

I have noticed the Ad-Watch Icon on the Desk Top, the system seems slower now after the D/L.

Any advice on Updating ?

This could be a lot of issues. I would seriously suggest you have someone take a look at your computer. May be malware causing all of these problems and then we would be spinning our wheels here for no reason. Also if a drive has malware on it, but nothing it starting the malware, it cant affect you.

It might be worth performing some free online virus scans.

1.Eset
2.Kaspersky
3.Bitdefender
4.Panda
5.McAfee

That basically means that the program is out of date.

It shouldn't matter if it has been installed twice. Let us know how the scans go.

Alan.

Hi, Thanks I posted a HJT, . . hope that meets your approval Panda found nothing, AVG, Spybot, and mbam cme up clean to but that isn't what my startup list looked like, . .

I unchecked these, (except for marked with asterisk), after I posted the HJT, but have not applied this yet, will it be OK to apply?
