Am I correct in thinking, Windows updater can dial my connection, Windows can enter my PC, and Download the update, then hang up or restart ?

I mean there was a time or two when I was left wondering, how they did that !

Security is always a good conversation topic.
When you don't have to worry about your computer anymore, you can start
