Hi, it's been a while since I last stopped here and now I have a very odd audio problem. I just don't understand cause it was working earlier today then all of a sudden theres no sound. I tried replugging everything, adjusting volume, everything and still no luck. Now here's the odd part, I check my audio settings through control panel only to find that the device page says there is no device. Has any1 else had this problem?

The driver probably became corrupt. What is the make and model of your computer?

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

it's fixed now, but if it happens again I have an AMD64 processor and the audio driver is a Realtek audio driver. Realtek AC97 I think.
