I'm having trouble uninstalling AVG 8, I keep getting the same message every time
Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows: creating registry key....
Error 0x80070005
Tried changing permissions using regedit, cleaning the registry with CCleaner and Registry Mechanic but nothing helped.
I googled about it and found lots of people with the same problem, but all of them happened when trying to INSTALL AVG, I wanna UNINSTALL IT!
Anyone knows how to fix that?
Or any other safe way of uninstalling AVG? (deleting folders and keys manually maybe?)
Thanks

I got a message a few days ago when attempting to uninstall AVG 8 but don't recall what the message said. The only thing I remember is that it stated action failed.
My solution-reboot the computer and start it in safe mode to try uninstall from safe mode.
This worked like a charm and the uninstall completed without a hitch.
