HELP AFTER SYSTEM RECOVERY

hi people
i need help, i had to system recover my computer last week ,compaq presario, which worked ok, but now i cannot access my programs files seem to be missing all over the place!

i only really need my interent working, the program and drivers wont uninstall or reinstall, or work! the icons are still there but it cant find certain files.

i think its the software for the modem as it is not showing in add/remove hardware

is there anyway i can totally reset the computer and start installing again?

i have no restore points

any help would be GREAT!!

Do you have the CD disks that were shipped with your computer?

As long as you registered the computer when you bought it. you can contact support and get replacement disk for a nominal fee. This link is for the UK
