BleepingComputer.com: Download extentions?

I'm really not sure that's the correct name or where to post my question so please excuse my stupidity. Here's my question: I would like to download Foxit Reader but have no idea which link to click on because I don't know what they mean. The choices are: .exe or .zip or .msi. I just want to be able to read a PDF file.

The easy way is to go to http://www.filehippo.com/download_foxit/ then, on the right hand side of the page, click on "download latest version"..........no confusing options to worry about and the correct installer will download.

Save that to your desktop, then install as normal.

Filehippo is clean and free of malware.

Just for your info.

.exe is the full sized version which runs the program.

.zip contains the .exe in a compressed version for faster downloading, but must then be 'extracted'. (My favourite for this is 7Zip).

.msi is the MicroSoft Installer version for Windows.

I also use Foxit as my default PDF reader - much less crud than Adobe.
