USB Questions For MP3s and such

I just have a question about the autorun.inf virus and how it is related to MP3s. I do know that if the virus is present in the computer, it spreads itself to pen drives or external HDs once it is connected to the computer (I think one way to stop this spreading is to stop autorun). However, what would happen if you connect your MP3 via USB to a computer that is infected with this virus. Would it spread to the MP3 and later when you connect the MP3 to a clean computer, that computer will also be infected? Would this go the same for cameras also?
