Just curious can i check about the 8Mb L2 details ? I just wonder where i can see this infos ?

( 2.4ghz , 8 MB L2 , 1066Mhz FSB )

how i know my pc have 8 Mb L2 ?

Sounds like an INTEL Processor.

You can find complete information on your system using a free utility like SIW,
OR Everest Home.

I installed SIW !

I saw this info under : CPU Info

L2 Cache : 2 X 4096KBytes

this mean im under 8 MB L2 ?

No. It shows you have a dual core system running 4086 in each leg. =8mgs + total. just what you should have with that system.

Wikipedia has a good explanation of the cache. In processors there generally are two caches, L1 and L2, the L2 cache is the larger of the two.

Did you look under PCU info in SIW?

What exactly are you looking for information wise regarding the L2 cache?

when i bought this pc they say

Intel Core 2 Quad ( 2.4ghz , 8 MB L2 , 1066Mhz FSB )

So i want to check if they really give me 8MB L2 ...where i can check those infos about " 8 Mb L2 "

U advised me use SIW and i did ! I got infos from " CPU Infos " section :

The result is : L2 Cache 2 x 4096 KBytes

is that info prove my system is 8MB L2 ?
