Dear khay,

Is sygate the only firewall you have been using?

I doubt the firewall caused your flickering, well not intentionally.

It sounds like one of your video files is corrupted.

Easy to fix. Reload your video drivers or uninstall and reinstall your vid card drivers.

If that does not work, check your vid card manufacturer for updates.

THIS MAY SOUND VERY SILLY BUT

Have you moved ANYTHING near your Monitor ?????

Small table lamps, especially Halogen ones cause terrible interference with a standard monitor. Cables, some speakers and most power units etc can have the same effect.

I know I just had same problem for two days after updating windows lmfao.gif but then just moved my lamp poster_oops.gif

Dear khay,

Do you have a video card or on board chip?

If you a video card go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers. They may have new ones also.

If it is on board video, go to the Mother board manufacturer and do the same.

If you don't know the manufacturer, click on Control Panel, then click on System, the click Device manager tab; go down to video card and it should tell you.

Let us know,
