BleepingComputer.com: Accessing other computrs on my home network....

HI there I have had my computers running on my network for some time and working fine, but now I want more control over the other computers.

Here is what I have

Mine is a Windows XP Home and Linux dual boot
Wife has Windows Vista
Daughter 1 has Windows XP Pro
Daughter 2 has Windows XP Home


What I want is to have full access to at least the 2 Daughters computers (just to watch over the content of their computer usage). One is 13 and the other is 10 and I just want to make sure their safe and to be able to check up on their downloading and things like that.....

I have them so I can see shared folders but I tried to make the C drive shared I can access but any folders show me that I do not have permission to view........

Is there any way to be able to view their whole computers with out going through with sharing each and every folder on their computer???????

If you are able to go on their computer and make a shortcut of their C: Drive into the shared folder you should be able to view all files on their computer from your own. Sometimes you will be required to have admin privelages. Do your daughter's computers have user accounts, or do they just turn the computer on it and goes straight to their desktop. In other words, do they need to sign in?
