Hi Bleepers.

The burning section of my ConvertXtoDVD doesn't work any more. I re-installed a fresh download of ConvertXto DVD, but it still won't burn, although to converts okay.

At present I'm using ConvertXtoDVD to convert - and then I open up DVDShrink to burn the converted files from ConvertXtoDVD's folder. Works perfectly.

I've been Googling for a convert-and-burn package, but so far without without success.

Tried 'DVD Rip and Burn 5.2.0.1' - but couldn't get to first base with it. I couldn't find the files in the ConvertXtoDVD folder. What it showed were files that I've deleted weeks - even months ago. Very odd.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you.

I'll give it a go, Wombat.

I've just tried out 'Super DVD Creator'... useless as tits on a bull.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Update: No good, Wombat. What I got was ImgBurn: "Unsupported image file format!" This was the video file that DVDShrink burnt to disc with no trouble at all.

I'm looking for software that converts movie files on my hard drive - and then automatically continues on to burn them to a blank DVD disc in the drive.

I've been using ConvertXtoDVD for ages, but now it goes to ERROR when it starts the burn cycle.

As for Super DVD Creator... It couldn't convert a whole movie - and then the burn operation is manual.

Try http://www.freewarehome.com/

On the column to the left there are links to different types of freeware, find DVD and search there are many options, when I need something I go there and check it out, I usually download 3-4 freewares of the same type and try them out, I have never been let down, I always find what I need.

Sorry, but I couldn't find anything even remotely resembling a convert-and-burn app. on your link.

I'm trying to use something called AVS Video Tools, but it's not making sense. My video file is only 701MB, but this app is telling me I'm trying convert and burn it as a 6.33Gb video file.

Problem solved.

After two days of my ConvertXtoDVD not being able to burn - it suddenly came good.

Well, for anyone else who might not have that software, here is a program that does something similar and is being offered for free for Oct. 25th:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/shark-star-burn-10/
This site gives away one paid program every 24 hours. I have gotten some nice programs from it. I would suggest checking it every morning like I do over coffee! ;)

Great link, HamSandwich!

Unfortunately I can't find the Download button for the free licensed version. The 'free version' is there, but where's the free licensed version?
