My daughter has a HP laptop with windows vista basic on it. Unfortunately she has recently reset her password and then forgotten it, she now cant access her computer programmes at all. To reset her password it is asking her to following these instructions - This feature requires removable media, such as a floppy disk or USB flash drive. Please insert a floppy disk or connect a USB flash drive, and then try again. We have none of these things to hand, what can we do to reset her password and give her access to her programmes again. hi,,, is she on the admin account or just a user account,,,, if its the first then your stuffed, there are ways but i doubt anyone will tell you because this would be a good way for someone else who see's the post to access a computer that is not there's.
