Hello all,
I have a Abit motherboard and a P4 processor running at 3.06Ghz and 533Mhz FSB. Would upgrading to a P4 running at 3.2Ghz and a 800Mhz FSB make a significant difference? All comments welcome.

Dear mguggen,

It wil increase some but I would wait. Intel and AMD are coming out with new types of CPU's. Of course that means changing the MB and memory.

Hope that helps,

A standard rule of thumb upgrade your CPU when you can double its speed. Since you are @ 3.0 ghz already it may take quite awhile until they come out with a 6.0 ghz. On the bright side your PC should be revelant for quite awhile.
