Hello all. I noticed yesterday my office 2003 seems to be corrupt. I can not open any word or excel files and word says my normal.dot is missing. I tried repair and install from CD but each time i get interal error 2203 c:\windows\installer then it lists a file name that is not there when i look for it.

I tried to run Windows Installer clean up and the same thing happens.

When i google the problem i read it is avout allowing permisison so i change everythign to not read only, but no differene.

I am desperate and some of my more savvy friends can not figure it out.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Have you tried right clicking on the installer files and selecting "Run as administrator"?
