HELP! Random pop ups of IE cant get them to stop, tried everything i could

I am having pop ups even when i am not on the internet. i tried to get rid of things i could but didnt want to delete anything i needed. alot of the things i looked up in my file didnt come up as known problems. any idea on what i need to do would greatly help. thanks

Please be patient as I need some time to review your Hijackthis log and i will post back recommendations for repairs.
As I am still on training, everything that I post to you, must be checked by an expert. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long.

Please open your HijackThis and select Open the Misc Tools section
  • Press Open Uninstall Manager...
  • Click on the Save List...
  • After save the list, the uninstall list will be shown

Hey, thanks alot for helping me. Ill try and do everything I can to help as well.
Right now when i click on the Save Files button, Hi Jack This just closes and nothing happens. Any ideas on what is going on or what I can do?

Hi, try go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis folder, and then rename the HijackThis.exe to user.exe
After that, try do the Uninstall List step, and also post a fresh HijackThis log.

Please disable the Spysweeper temporarily
  • Open Spysweeper and click on Options > Program Options and uncheck Load at Windows Startup
  • On the left side click Shields and then uncheck everything there
  • Uncheck Home Page Shield
  • Uncheck Automatically restore default without notification
  • Exit the program

WeatherBug is a system tray icon that offers weather information and includes built-in ads. WeatherBug is controlled by AWS Convergence Technologies (weatherbugmedia.com). There is some controversy over whether WeatherBug should be targeted by anti-parasite software. AWS strongly deny their software is ‘spyware’, and by the definition used here, it is not, as it does not leak information back to its controlling servers. However, WeatherBug has in the past been silently installed by the FavoriteMan parasite and Freeze.com screensavers, and more recently has been bundled by software such as AIM and Blubster. This makes it ‘unsolicited’, and since it is installed to raise money for its creators through the built-in ads it is certainly ‘commercial’. So it does meet the definition for ‘parasite’: unsolicited commercial software. It is nonetheless listed as a borderline case because it is not overtly harmful and many people do install it deliberately. WeatherBug bundles the MySearch parasite in its standalone distribution and has in the past, installed Gator and SVAPlayer.

I recommend that you uninstall WeatherBugand choose one of these alternatives:

Weather Watcher
or
Get mozilla Firefox and then get FORECASTFOX!!!
or check the weather at these websites:
Weather Street: US Weather
Intellicast
To uninstall WeatherBug:
  • Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  • In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  • In Add or Remove Programs, highlight WeatherBug, click Remove.
  • Close the Add or Remove Programs and the Control Panel windows.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware here and save to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:
    Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the log back into your next reply
    Note:
  • The log can also be found here:
