Hello dneboy and welcome to BC,

Are you logged on as administrator?
Has this problem just started happening?
Have you made any changes to the system prior to the problem?

Yes, I am logged in as administrator.
It does allow me to sort when I switch Classic Mode.
I just performed a fresh install, becuase of other issues I was having, about three weeks ago.
I don't know if it was an issue then as I didn't try to sort the programs.
This was something I just discovered,

And the problem remains?

The event viewer may give some more information.

1. Click Start select run
2. Type eventvwr.exe
3. Press enter
4. Search through the groups for errors and warnings.
5. Double click on each error and or warning.
6. Locate the copy to clipboard button, (under the two arrows)
7. Let us know what you find. (paste the results)
