Hope you are doing well, I want to buy a new laptop. One of my acquaintances recommended this one: HP Pavilion DV6853 Compared to my 40 GB burned-out laptop this one seems great and affordable. What do you think? All opinions are welcomed. Thanks in advance. |

Hello nigglesnush85, thanks for answering my question. I thought that it's a good device however you said that it "should be capable of doing most things". What are the things that it can't do? Could you be a little bit more elaborate?
Thanks again This post has been edited by Mesmerized: Oct 6 2008, 04:23 AM |

Speaking of elaborate. What are your intentions for the laptop? Games, video editing, etc.?

Usual stuff (writing, photo + video editing but no games). However to be a little bit honest, I don't know a lot about computers that's why I am asking for advice. I don't want to be scammed

It should be fine for your needs and does have a decent graphics processor. I would say the price is OK for the system too.
