Wondering if there is such a program that I can safely use to remove duplicate files on my PC? Reason I ask is that my PC is slower then a turtle when it shouldn't be. no virus's or malware detected. Cable connection TIA

* clear out your web browser caches
* clear out the temporary files
* defragment the hard drive(s) overnight: I suggest JKdefrag and/or WinContig for this.
* apply some of the tweaks and optimizations found on other websites:
* if you have lots of memory, and don't utilize it much, experiment with turning off Virtual RAM.
* make sure your hard drivers are configured for speed
