Every so often I get a pop-up error stating "Windows - No Disk" Exception processing message 0XC0000013 and some parameters.

Anybody know how to resolve this? Both my DVD drives have disks in.

Thanks

Dave

What are you doing when this occurs?

It happens randomly. Could be playing Football Manager or browsing the net using IE. Doesn't appear to behave in any fixed pattern.

This is an error message telling you that some program was looking for a disk in a drive and couldn't find one.

Thanks John. This is all well and good, but I'll be playing a game and this error pops up. Or browsing the Net and the error pops up. It's not as if I'm starting a new program when it happens. It just appears. Can go hours between appearances or just a few minutes. Totally random, totally crazy.

David,

I rarely like to recommend this, but returning to a Restore point in windows before the issue began might be a good Idea. This may
eliminate the issue.

Do you have an external USB device plugged in? ... If so, unplug it and see if you continue to get the message.
