Once you had located you desired address, previous issues of Google Earth allowed you to truck in to your location straight at 90 deg. to the surface of the earth. I used the measuring tool to measure roofs. I have a new Google Earth 3D that takes you in at 90 deg. but at a certain point makes a sweeping turn horizontal to the earths surface. I can find no control that lets me change that back to a staight 90 deg. approach for measurement. What is the problem. Where is the contol that allows me to do that. Any help is great. Thanks in advance. Jh.Davis

Hi jh.davis.
I do not use it anymore but perhaps the article below will help?
Google Earth - The new controls for zoom and horizon tilt.
There is always Google Earth Support options here
