Lg Dvd Rewriter Installation Problem

hello everyone,

im trying to install LG DVD Rewriter on my PC.

ive followed the instructions on the manual on how to install it.

however, after i've turned on my PC, i got this message:

Press DEL to run Set-up
Press F8 for BBS set-up
512 MB OK (DDR: 553Mhz)

Auto-detecting Pri Master...IDE Hard Disk

Pri Master: WDC WD800BB-22JHC0 05.01C05
Ultra DMA Mode-5, S.M.A.R.T capable and status BAD

Pri Master Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T. status BAD, Backup and Replace
Primary Slave Drive_ATAPI Incompatible

Press F1 to resume

**please, i need help on this**

Welcome to Bleepin scarlett

WD hard drives have a special jumper setting when they are alone on the cable, it's called single drive

If you add another drive that messes it up

It's a bad idea to put a burner on the same cable anyway, like thrying to get 2 cars passing each other on a one lane bridge

I would install the burner jumpered master on the second cable, just pull the original drive(dvdrom whatever)
