I'm a relatively newbie to the Mac environment -- but am pretty literate on my PC. This is probably a really easy question for somebody, so I'm hoping to learn from your knowledge.
I have an iMac, and loaded Microsoft Office for Mac. Entourage, PowerPoint and Word work fine. Excel, on the other hand, won't open for me. I am one of 3 users on this machine, and it opens fine for the other two. Unfortunately, when I hover over the icon, a ? appears over it and it doesn't open.
Any idea on why? It's driving me nuts..... Thanks!

Quick question. Are you trying to launch it from the dock? Or the Applications folder?

From the dock. I click on it, get the ?, then it does nothing.

See, I knew it was easy. Thank you! It will open from applications, just not from the dock. Although it isn't optimum, I can live with that. You rock!!

Drag the old dock icon off the dock to delete it. With the application folder open, drag the Excel icon back onto the dock and youll have a working dock icon
