Office 2003 Word Insertion Point Word insertion point disappears

Hi.

I have just installed a legitimate version of Office 2003 student & teacher edition on my computer.
The computer has two users set up.

Installed is XP Home edition service pack 2

Word works fine for one user, but the other user cannot see the insertion point when typing!!
Once the enter key is pressed the cursor disappears. If l select backspace key the cursor appears again!!

Any help please??

Control panel -> Keyboard options and set cursor rate. Someone had been playing :thumbsup:
