Hi having a problem with one of our PCs, in that sometimes when i turn the PC on, the display will come up garbled, like a stereogram at the post screen, then i press reset it says Windows did not start succesfully, so i press "start windwos normally" and everything is fine onwards. It is a fairly intermittent problem, the GFX are onbaord FYI.

Thanks.

If you have a camera laying around snap a shot of it next time it happens. In the meantime I would try a regular video card, if you happen to have one laying around. Something seems odd about it snapping out of it once you get into windows. Like the basic BIOS video drivers are corrupted or something. Probably completely irrelevant, but does the device manager show any conflicts? Yellow ! marks. Don't go doing anything extreme based on this, someone will see this post that has seen the problem before.
